Verification and AML
1. Why we verify
Verification protects your account and keeps our casino fair.
Membership is open only to people living somewhere gambling is lawful. Our age and identity checks and our measures against money laundering follow the standard set by Canadian law. Checking ID stops minors from joining, prevents fraud, keeps your winnings safe and ensures that payouts are sent only to the genuine account holder. Your identity and location are confirmed by us ahead of your first deposit.
2. When verification fails
No completed checks, no deposits or withdrawals.
If we can't verify your details, or your documents and account disagree, we freeze play, deposits and withdrawals until it's sorted out. If your details stay unconfirmed or we find false documents, we may close the account and withhold any winnings under our Terms of Use. Where the law permits, we refund your deposits to the card or account you first paid with.
3. Ongoing monitoring
Verification continues after registration.
We watch for unusual account activity, such as sudden large deposits, money deposited and withdrawn with hardly any play in between, or one person holding several accounts. When something looks wrong, we may request new documents or extra details before you can keep playing.
4. Sanctions and politically exposed person screening
We screen every account against official lists.
We check all players against sanctions lists and flag politically exposed persons, plus their family and close associates. A match doesn't lead to automatic refusal, but extra checks follow. People under sanctions may not open an account here or keep one.
5. Record keeping and reporting duties
We keep records and report suspicious activity as Canadian law requires.
We keep your ID documents and records of your transactions for the full time the law sets. If money laundering or terrorist financing is suspected, we have to report it to the proper Canadian authorities, and the law may bar us from telling you. Your Privacy explains how we handle personal information.
6. Identity and age checks
Clear photos of a few documents are usually all we need.
To confirm that you are 19+ and the owner of the account, we may ask for the following:
- Government-issued photo ID that is still valid, for example your driver's licence or passport
- A bank or utility statement with a recent date that shows your home address
- Something showing the payment method is yours, like an e-wallet screenshot or a bank statement
Please check that every document shows all four corners and that the writing is clear. Payouts only go to payment methods in your own name. Deposits and withdrawals in Canadian dollars (CAD) carry no fees.
7. Source of funds
For larger sums, we may request details on the source of your funds.
If deposits reach levels that call for extra care, we may request proof of how you fund your play, such as pay slips, bank statements, or papers showing savings, a property sale or an inheritance. Play and withdrawals can stay on hold until we have checked what you send.
